The Philadelphia Society

As the years go on the Secretary will be adding choice audio files from the vast collection of past Philadelphia Society speeches from 1964 to the present. You will be able to hear the voices and ideas of the great conservatives and classical liberals such as Richard M. Weaver, Milton Friedman, Eric Voegelin, F.A. Hayek, and many others. These will be supplemented by choice audio files of G.K. Chesterton, H.L. Mencken, Hilaire Belloc, and T.S. Eliot. If you have tapes or recordings of persons who would be appropriate for inclusion in this format, please contact the Secretary by letter or by E-mail. Click on E-Mail if you wish to respond directly.

The following audio files are Real Audio Files and not WAV files. You will need to have a Real Audio Player installed on your browser to hear them. The Secretary has found these a little tricky so don't be disappointed if you don't succeed in hearing the audio files.

You can download the necessary software free on the Internet if you have a sound board and the appropriate equipment. For your convenience, the Real Audio site is a click away. Real Audio Site
